Kenyan government demands answer from Yaoundé over killing of their own

The Government of  of Kenya through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs has written formally requesting for an investigation into the death of one of its citizens in Kembong, South west region of Cameroon last week.

The Kenyan government said in a letter that it had formally inquired from the Cameroon Government through its High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria about the circumstances leading to the death of Father Cosmas Omboto.

The Principal Secretary at the Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said they will “relentlessly continue to pursue answers about this sad event.”

Fr Cosmos was caught by bullets on Wednesday 21st November 2018 at the parish house in kembong South West region of Cameroon
