Prophet Bushiri apologizes to South Africans After plenitude of scandals rocking his church

The Malawian born but South African based Prophet, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, Apologises to South Africans over Stampede in his church that led to the death of Three Persons and got 17 persons injured.

The most Followed Man of God in the world, and General overseer of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG), was speaking on Monday 28/01/2019, as he answered to the convocation of the CRL human right Commission over the circumstances leading to such event in his church. while equally stating that he and his ministry have really suffered lately, from what he described as media Speculation. The Stampede occurred on the 28/12/2018.

The issue of media speculation is came up after he was last week accused of sexually exploiting female members of his church, with the most recent being, his TV presenter in which case he in a press conference dismissed such allegations.

Here is an except of his words “Our church despite, what we have achieved, we are also a victim of the speculation. We have been victimized, called all sort of bad names and sometimes punished., I call on the media to challenge speculation with facts while reporting. I have seen the media telling the public I once said, South Africans love our church because they believe in magic. I have never said that, it is all lies…”
